On November 20, 2008, NOTAM's sound art exhibition Absorption and Resonance opened at Henie Onstad Art Centre. Coinciding with this, NOTAM published a book about the exhibition. The book is completely bilingual (Norwegian and English), and contains both vivid descriptions of all the featured works and several texts about sound art in general – written by Katharine Norman, Leigh landy, Jøran Rudi, Aeron Bergman and Steinar Sekkingstad. The book is in hardback, with pictures, illustrations and a splendid design by Yokoland.

The book is published with support from The Institution Fritt Ord and Arts Council Norway.
