NOTAM is annually involved in a number of collaborative projects and attend various conferences both in Norway and internationally. On the international level, NOTAM's role is to a larger degree oriented toward research and development. NOTAM is part of an international netword with solid ties to annual music technology and electroacoustic conferences and festivals, e.g. Integra, NIME, ICMC, Synthese and more. On this page, there is information about upcoming and current conferences, as well as an archive of past projects.
Integra II
In March 2009, the new EU project, Integra II, was launched. The project will build upon the work done in the 3-year Integra project, which lasted from 2005 until 2008.
Warsawa Autumn
During the course of 2009 it has become clear that NOTAM will enter a long-term collaboration with the Warsaw Autumn festival. The collaboration has been facilitated through MIC – Music Information Centre Norway.
Respirator
Bjørnar Habbestad, Jeff Carey, Roar Sletteland, Hans Wilmers, Trond LossiusAn ongoing development project for the creation of a of a multimodal hyperinstrumental performance environment for real time synthesis and processing. The system is flexible and links the software SuperCollider with Bjørnar Habbestads electroacoustic flute.
Synth-DIY Treff 2009
Terje WintherWintherStomer i samarbeid med NOTAM inviterte til det tredje norske analoge synth og synth-DIY treffet lørdag 31. oktober. Alle som er interesserte i analoge synthesizere, både ferdige og selvbygde, kunne møte opp i NOTAMs lokaler mellom kl 1100 og 2000.
ULTIMA

NIME 2009
Jøran Rudi var NOTAMs representant på den niende NIME-konferansen (New Interfaces for Musical Expression) i Pittsburg, Pennsylvania fra 4. til 6. juni 2009.
Linux Audio Conference
An annual conference where developers and users of free audio software for Linux meet for presentations, workshops and concerts. From NOTAM, Hans Wilmers participated in 2009, and Kjetil Matheussen in 2004, 2005 and 2008. In 2010 the conference will be held in Utrecht, Netherlands.
ICMC 2008
ICMC 2008 was in Belfast August 24 - 29. There was a large delegation from Norway, and NOTAM was represented by Hans Wilmers and Kjetil Matheussen.

Musikkteknologidagene 2007
Musikkteknologidagene 2007 fant sted på Norges Musikkhøgskole 10. og 11. oktober under Ultimafestivalen. Arrangørene var Norges Musikkhøgskole, Institutt for Musikkvitenskap ved Universitetet i Oslo, NOTAM og Ultima.
EMS09
Jøran Rudi is attending this year's EMS Conference (Electroacoustic Music Studies) in Buenos Aires, which will last from June 22 to 25. He is holding a presentation about the development of electroacoustic music.
ICMC 2009
This year's ICMC (International Computer Music Conference) was be held in Montreal, Canada August 16 to 21. Hans Wilmers, Kjetil Matheussen and Jøran Rudi were present at the conference. Wilmers and Matheussen contributed with an article each.
